The original piece was commissioned by a local collector and business owner to represent how the owners of this local restaurant have brought communities together since their opening in 1994.
 
The Shama bird is a locally loved bird and is known for its intelligence, relationship with people, and beautifully complex song. The Madagascar Geckos party in the snake plants while the snails wink at each other from across the glowing bird nest fern.
